Literature Text
People are like bouquets and flowers,
Beautiful, wilted, blooming.
They are a language within themselves,
Words that aren't spoken aloud.
They have the scent of something sweet
Or something foul.
People are like bouquets and flowers,
Starting out as tiny buds.
They're hard to hate and they're hard to love,
And they grow and bloom and die.
People are like bouquets and flowers,
And some of them make you more allergic than others.
They're a wide variety of signs,
All by how they smell, look, and what they say
As flowers.

People are like bouquets and flowers,
Wild and different and a combination of all kinds.
Some are plain, some are fancy, some are flawed...
You can be spotty
Or pale
Or bright
Or tall
Or small
Or dark.
People are like bouquets and flowers,
Of all different kinds.
No one is the exact same,
And while some may not be as flashy or beautiful or well-loved,
That's okay.
Because you are a flower,
Tucked inside your own bouquet,
Unique and beautiful in your own way—
Every last one of you.
Beautiful, wilted, blooming.
They are a language within themselves,
Words that aren't spoken aloud.
They have the scent of something sweet
Or something foul.

National Poetry Writing Month #5!
I know it's getting late for Easter poems, but the added drawings took forever to finish.
Anyway, please don't yell at me about the lack of diversity! The only reason this poem even came into existence was because I had drawn Pwerpuff Girls characters and my Powerpuff Girls OC's wearing flower crowns and decided to write a poem about it! I even did research on the flowers they're wearing.
